Welcome to the Matapu School Student Council page.

Our Councillors are:

Our job is to help organise and run weekly assemblies, organise school trips, activity afternoons and lots of other fun things to do!

We are an Enviroschool, that means we are looking at ways we can make our whole school environment more attractive, have zero waste and organic gardens to grow vegetables in.

We visited the Taranaki Environmental Centre and spent a day doing exciting activities. Back at school we decided we want to get these activities going : a worm farm, compost, planting vegetables, planting flowers, making mud bricks and learning to cook different foods.

We will be helping to plan and design a fantastic new challenging playground for the school.
